Do I need to install an app to help someone?
No. Anyone who finds a person, pet or object simply scans the QR Code and accesses a secure public page directly on their cell phone.
Does COF work for children?
Yes. Does the system also work for the elderly and people with Alzheimer's?
Yes. The COF was developed to help families, caregivers and institutions that face the challenges of caring for the elderly, Alzheimer's patients, people with schizophrenia, cognitive impairment, mental disorders, communication difficulties and similar conditions. Simple situations can become moments of enormous concern: an open door, a distraction, a walk. The COF helps in these moments: if someone finds that person, simply scan the QR Code to locate those responsible, access guidance and get in touch safely. The system allows groups of caregivers, sharing with family members, timetable rules, institutional monitoring, scheduling of notifications and quick access to important information — for more security, peace of mind and support for those caring.
Can I use COF for pets?
Yes. For many people, pets are part of the family. The COF was created to reduce the distance between those who lost it and those who found it: with the Smart Tag, whoever finds the pet can scan the QR Code, get in touch, send location, send photos and talk to the person responsible — without relying solely on ads on social networks. The system allows you to share the Tag with family members, create groups of guardians, activate loss alerts, display personalized messages and optional rewards to speed up the reunion, in a simple and safe way.
Does the COF work for backpacks, bicycles and objects?
Yes. You can use tags on backpacks, suitcases, bicycles, notebooks, badges, suitcases and many other objects.
Does the QR Code show my personal data?
Not automatically. The person responsible decides what information can be shared, following privacy rules and LGPD.
Can anyone I find talk to me?

Can I share a tag with school or caregivers?

Does the COF work for excursions and trips?
Yes. The COF serves temporary operations such as excursions, trips, events, school trips, tour groups, camps, external activities and sports operations. The platform allows you to create temporary groups, monitoring teams, specific responsible parties and rules by period and time. You can organize several simultaneous groups with different monitors — for example, on a tour: Group A with one monitor, Group B with another, each accompanying only the assigned participants. There is also sharing with parents and guardians, automatic notifications, alert escalation, schedule control and quick identification — bringing more security, organization, traceability and peace of mind to institutions and families.
Can I customize my own QR Code?
Yes. COF has Personalized Digital Tag functionality: you generate your own QR Code, customize texts, choose messages, configure identification information and can print directly through the platform. It is possible to issue the QR Code in formats such as PDF and high-quality vector SVG, in a simple and practical way.
Do I need to buy the physical tag?
Not necessarily. COF offers different ways of use: purchasing ready-made physical Tags, using digital QR Codes, printing your own labels or generating personalized identifications on the platform — you choose according to your needs and budget. Digital Tag: you generate, customize and print; ideal for personal objects, school supplies and quick identification. Physical tags: there are also smart stickers, bracelets, pendants, pet identifiers and personalized products, with exclusive QR Codes integrated into the COF. In any format, you access features such as communication, location, sharing with guardians, history, notifications and monitoring of Tags.
Is the system valid?
Yes. COF Tags and QR Codes have a standard activation period of 12 months. After this period, the license can be renewed on the platform simply. You can track validity, receive expiration notifications, renew licenses, reactivate expired Tags and manage your IDs. The system sends alerts before expiration to reduce interruptions. After expiration, the Tag may become inactive, some functionalities may be blocked and monitoring may be interrupted until renewal, according to current licensing rules.
Can I deactivate, suspend or cancel a Tag?
Yes. You can temporarily suspend a Tag (pause from use, travel, maintenance, storage or temporary exchange): it is inactive, can be reactivated later and maintains history and settings. It is also possible to permanently cancel in cases such as loss, theft, permanent damage, disposal, destruction or compromised security: the QR Code is permanently blocked, the Tag cannot be reactivated and the history remains for auditing and traceability. Permanent cancellation helps prevent improper reuse, duplication, fraud and inconsistencies. Everything can be managed on the COF platform.
Does the COF keep a history of occurrences?
Yes. The COF maintains a complete history organized by Tag, with records such as: accessing the QR Code, messages and chats, sharing location, sending photos, alerts, actions taken, status changes and identification events. This facilitates occurrence monitoring, traceability, organization, auditing and monitoring by family members, schools and clinics. The visualization was designed to be simple, intuitive and quick, with information centralized on the platform.
How do rewards work?
COF allows you to configure optional rewards to help recover lost objects, pets, valuable items and specific situations. When activating a loss alert, you can set a custom message and the amount of reward offered. This information can be displayed when the QR Code is read by whoever found the item, pet or object. Message examples: “Reward for return.”; “Very important object for our family.”; “Pet missing. Please get in touch.” After return, payment of the reward is made directly between the parties. COF does not intermediate payments, does not participate in financial trading, does not carry out transfers and does not act as a financial institution: it only provides disclosure of the reward and communication between users.
Does COF serve companies and institutions?
Yes. COF has a B2B structure for different sizes and segments, with an architecture prepared for schools, clinics, nursing homes, hospitals, excursions, events, companies, external operations, field teams, tourism, pet shops, veterinary clinics and care institutions. The platform allows centralized management of Tags, groups of guardians and caregivers, sharing monitoring, control over schedules and operations, traceability, history of occurrences, asset identification and monitoring of people, pets and assets. Common cases: students on excursions, patients being monitored, elderly people and Alzheimer's, asset identification, equipment, corporate assets, pets in clinics and hotels, events and temporary operations. There are corporate, institutional and Enterprise plans for larger operations.
Is the system secure?

What happens when someone finds a person, pet or object?
When someone finds a person, pet or object with a COF Tag, they simply scan the QR Code with their cell phone camera. The system opens a secure public page, allows you to initiate contact and notifies authorized managers in real time. COF has intelligent scheduling: it first tries to locate primary caregivers, active caregivers, monitors, and guardians for the current schedule. Whoever takes care of the service conducts communication with those who met. If no one at the first level responds, the system escalates to additional assignees, shared groups, supervisors, and account administrators. Whoever found it can, depending on permissions: send messages, share location, send photos, call, use WhatsApp and see directions — in a simple and secure way.
Does COF work on cell phones?
Yes. The platform works directly through the browser and also has a PWA experience for quick access on your cell phone.
Can I use the COF on more than one person or pet?
Yes. You can manage multiple tags within the same account.
Does COF work in any country?
Yes. The platform was developed for international operation, multiple languages, global use and different user and institution profiles, via the web and Digital Tags. Outside Brazil, Digital Tags, personalized QR Codes, generation of digital labels and online access are usually available — without relying on physical shipping. Global expansion is part of the roadmap, with the structuring of partnerships in Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia (distributors, sales channels and local operations). The goal is to make COF a global platform for intelligent identification, care and protection.

The COF goes beyond a label with a QR Code. Common labels usually only show a phone number or static link; COF delivers a platform for intelligent identification, communication, management, monitoring, security and care. Do I pay for the physical product or for the platform?
The main value of COF lies in the intelligent care, identification and communication platform. In most cases, the amount paid refers to: • platform licensing • tag activation • use of the system for 12 months This licensing can be renewed annually. In some product lines, the value may consist of: • physical product • platform licensing Example: • bracelet + access to the system • pendant + platform activation • stickers + licensing In other words, the physical product is only part of the solution. COF's big difference is the intelligent platform that connects people, guardians and caregivers in a safe and organized way.
Does COF intermediate rewards or payments?
No. The COF platform has no link, intermediation or financial participation between users related to rewards, payments or negotiations. All negotiation, contact, agreement, financial responsibility and reward payment occurs exclusively between the parties. Payment must be made directly by the person responsible for the Tag who helped with the return. The COF only acts as an identification, communication, information sharing and support in locating and returning a tool — not as a financial intermediary, marketplace, digital wallet, payment institution or guarantor of values or agreements.
I offered a reward and did not pay. What happens?
COF understands that ethics, responsibility and good conduct are non-negotiable values. When offering a reward on the platform, there is a moral commitment between the parties. In case of complaints due to non-compliance, the user may be asked to provide proof, justifications and clarifications, with a period of up to 30 calendar days for a response. Without proof, plausible justification or legitimate attempt at resolution, the user may be suspended or permanently banned, in accordance with terms of use and ethics policies. If there is no intention or real possibility of paying the reward, it is recommended not to offer it.
I found an object with a QR Code and saw that there is a reward. Can I not return it?
The return depends on the ethics, goodwill and character of whoever found it. The COF facilitates communication and increases the chances of returns, but cannot guarantee that everyone will return the item. In Brazil, appropriating lost property and not returning it to the owner can constitute appropriation of a found thing (Art. 169 of the Penal Code). Anyone who finds an item must try to return it to the owner or hand it over to the competent authority within the legal deadline. COF does not control third parties, does not guarantee returns and is not responsible for the actions of those who found the item: it acts as a tool for identification, communication, location and rapprochement between the parties.
I lost an object, pet or loved one. Do I have a guarantee that it will be found and returned?
We cannot guarantee. The COF increases the chances of location and return with intelligent identification, quick communication, notifications, sharing with guardians and easy access via QR Code, connecting those who found it with those who are looking for it. The return depends on the action, ethics and good will of whoever found it. The COF does not work as an automatic GPS tracker: it depends on someone finding it, scanning the QR and initiating contact through the platform. In Brazil, not returning lost property may imply appropriation of a found thing (Art. 169 of the CP), depending on the case. The role of the COF is to identify, communicate, support location and facilitate returns — without controlling third parties, guaranteeing returns or responding to the actions of those who found the item.
Can companies, schools and clinics share Tags with family members and guardians?
Yes. COF allows secure Tag sharing and monitoring for schools, clinics, nursing homes, caregivers, institutions and guardians, with access to parents, family members, legal guardians, monitors and support teams. Those who share provide the guest's email or cell phone; the system sends an invitation. The guest simply registers, accepts sharing and follows the Tag according to permissions. There may be permissions to track occurrences, history, notifications, alerts, events, important information and emergency conversations — all in an organized and secure way. Examples: at school, monitors and parents receive alerts on trips; At the clinic, family members monitor relevant events and movements. The goal is a care network connecting institutions, families and caregivers when it matters.
What happens if someone removes or damages my Tag?
If the Tag is removed, lost, damaged, unusable or physically compromised, we recommend immediately accessing the COF to locate the Tag, suspend or permanently cancel the identification — avoiding improper reuse, loss of traceability and security risks. After definitive cancellation, a new Tag will be required for continued use; the new identification can be activated and configured on the platform. Warranty: covers manufacturing defects, printing problems, QR Code failures and defects in the original material. Does not cover loss, damage due to improper use, wear, improper removal, misuse, third party damage or inappropriate exposure. Always follow the COF usage guidelines.
